Queensberry Album

I just had to do a quick blog post as Kayleigh and Dave’s gorgeous Queensberry wedding album has arrived. I have been so excited about getting this as they went for a fab cover and i couldn’t wait to see what it looked like made up. They chose the micro leather cover (in Coco) with a full photo front. Since having a 12×12″ square sample album lots of couples have been opting for this size. Its different to a standard 14×10″ as photos have to be cropped down to fill a full page. With this is mind its lovely designing them as you can try out different things and it gets your creative juices flowing!
I am so pleased with how their album looks with a gorgeous bright cover shot of their rings on a sweet! I cant remember what them sweets are called but remember them as a kid, they were around at the same time as the “flying saucers”. That’s when you could go into a shop and penny sweets were a penny.
Its a lovely time of year when all the albums arrive and go out to their new homes. I often think about my clients all sitting round at Christmas going through their wedding album and reminiscing about their big day. Thats what having a wedding album is all about, having something to hold, smell and touch, most importantly though allowing the memories of your wedding day to live on forever.
More albums out the door

Its that time of year again where I have an influx of albums arriving. All the weddings I shot at the end of last year are now all wrapping up with the last part of the process being the delivery of the wedding album.
Queensberry New Zealand have always supplied me with albums and I love the style and simplicity of them. Clients are able to choose something very classic however if they want to do something a bit funky they have that option too. There is a stunning range of covers and page styles to choose from. I love working with my couples on this part as they get the option to pick what they want enabling them to make a real statement about who they are and what resembles them best.
Your wedding album is so precious as it becomes an heirloom that can be handed down generations for all the family to share and enjoy. A Queensberry album is a life long product whose wisdom will hopefully grow with yourself and your family.

Last week two more beautiful albums arrived from Queensberry New Zealand. I have used Queensberry for years now and love the quality and style of their albums. Both albums were delivered to their new homes over the weekend. I grabbed a few shots of them before they left. Wani and Ayo had a strong red colour theme through their wedding so decided to go for the classic cherry leather for their cover. Whilst Gemma and Matt went for an old favorite Contemporaray leather in the Earth shade.
